Restore the gut microbiome as well as the integrity of the intestinal wall and thrive. To achieve this clients will be using the Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) method and an organic food diet. The GAPS diet has been designed to repair the intestinal wall and re-establish a balanced gut microbiome. The diet includes an reintroduction stage, usually after 2 years, that can be used once the gut has been healed and this could include a vegetarian diet. Along with the GAPS approach I and incorporating Ayurvedic principles. Ayurveda means the science of life, and we each have a unique, mental, physical and emotional type from three qualities. These qualities are Vata, meaning movement, Pitta meaning transformation and Kapha meaning structure. These are explained in this video. The three mind-body types are explained here and the quiz to discover your own mind-body type is here.
Ayurveda describes the seven types of tissues called Dhatus, in the body starting with Rasa Dhatu which means Plasma or Lymph. The first Dhatu is formed from digested food and it nourishes all other Dhatus. This is a framework that can be used to understand how health is maintained, because the digestive fire that leads to health is called Agni and when in balance this supports all seven levels 0f the Dhatu tissues. When out of balance toxins care created called Ama, which can lead to illness. More on this here.
When in balance, the wall of the small and large intestine maintains its integrity. Under stress for whatever reason, the tight junctions in the intestinal wall leading to the arteries breakdown and partially digested food, toxin and bacterial fragments and whole bacteria, enter the arteries and from there create chronic inflammation and lead to disease.
By nourishing the gut the imbalance gut microbiome can be restored, and the overgrowth of pathogenic gut bacteria can be restored. The GAPS has been used for over 20 years all over the world through the one to one support of GAPS certified coaches. This includes meat or vegetarian broth, nutrient, dense food, sprouted, food, fermented, food, elimination of refined sugars, all grains and reduced starch. These changes reduce the load on the gut which enables it to heal and restore the diversity of the gut bacteria which is essential for health.

The Unified Basis of Existence: Science, Ayurveda, and Yoga
Modern scientific discoveries suggest that all of nature springs from a unified field, governed by an intricate web of natural laws. This underlying intelligence isn’t just a force; it’s also inherently aware—meaning it’s conscious.
